How did you get into snowboarding?
My brother was snowboarding when I was 6 or 7, so I had to try it.
You recently rocked the US Open Rail Jam and won second place. What do you see yourself as your career highlights?
2008 US Open, I got 2nd in SlopeStyle and won the Big Air. As well as I had a 3rd place at the European Open.
What movie can we watch your snowboard talents in?
The new Flow movie coming out. And of course I'm a YouTube All-Star : )

All time favorite chairlift and why?
The main-park chairlift at Mammoth, because it's quick and you can watch everyone riding the park.
Snowboarding is everything to you. How important are Sponsors to you?
Sponsors are basically what allow me to do what I do. If I didn't have great companies like Flow and Sessions backing me, then I wouldn't have any of the opportunities to build a name for myself like going to the European Open, and the Air & Style. I wouldn't be doing this interview right now if it wasn't for Jens at Flow!
What's your most visited Website?
theberrics.com, IWSTI.com and flowsnowboarding.blogspot.com
Quote you live by?
I seem to end up telling myself "well ... you only live once" a lot lately.
If you could be any animal, what would you be?
I dunno … some kind of badass snow leopard or something. I was watching one on that tv show Planet Earth doing some pretty gnarly shit.
Last trick you learned?
Doublecork back 10.
What's next for you with shredding?
My ankle's a little bit hurt right now, but I think it will be better to go spend some time out at Mt. Hood!
