Numerous co-operations with international snowboard companies, publishers and media partners prove the trust in ADDICTED TO SNOW.

Helge Zirkl has been an active and enthusiastic snowboarder for the last 15 years. He has supervised the snowboard editorial department of “Playboard Magazine” for the last 12 years. He is a co-founder of the legendary “King of Skate” and “King of Snow”.

Peter Nitsch, co-founder of the “Playboard Magazine”, has won several international awards both as a designer and photographer. He joined “rupa design” and “rupa publishing” as a partner after serving professional terms as the Art Director for Pro Sieben, 13th Street and Universal Studios.

Ploi Malakul is a graduate designer, founder of “rupa design” and “rupa publishing” and a passionate representative of minimalistic graphic and design. Her origins from the Thai metropolis of Bangkok are reflected in her internationally awarded designs.

Brief profile
Addicted to Snow is a premium brand within the segment of snowboarding, which emanated from the successful photo book “Addicted to Snow – Snowboard photography around the Globe” from the year 2006. This was followed up with annual calendars and T-shirts. ADDICTED TO SNOW underwent a redesign process in 2008, which allowed the brand to become independent and continuously expand. The new ADDICTED TO SNOW weblog was successfully launched in the same year.
With regard to content, concentration is focussed on the connection between snowboarding, fashion, high-quality, large-scale photo productions, as well as snow and street culture, such as lifestyles, fashion, photography, design, travel and film, as a consistent source of inspiration for all involved.
ADDICTED TO SNOW strives to promote creativity and to simultaneously surprise, show new perspectives and inspire. It features extraordinary interviews with stars and no-names if the international scene, aesthetic graphics, perfect design and high-quality photos. Design is the basis of ADDICTED TO SNOW, snowboarding and culture are the content.
